Psychologist – Hybrid

Job Description

Job Summary: The psychologist conducts Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) for veterans filing mental health disability claims (e.g., PTSD, Depression, Anxiety) through the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). These comprehensive exams involve mental health assessments and medical opinions but do not include treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health examinations for various conditions.
• Provide medical opinion writing as a subject matter expert.
• Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and VA regulations.
• Perform one-time, no treatment examinations.

Requirements:

• Full, current, and unrestricted U.S. psychology license.
• Graduated from an APA-approved doctorate program.

Preferred: Experience with C&P exams is a plus; training will be provided.
