Occupational Therapist Job Summary

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
  • Must be designated as an OTR by NBCOT (if state mandated).
  • Current state license/registration required.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document findings accurately.
  • Create and update treatment plans with defined goals and modalities.
  • Ensure compliance with MD orders for evaluations and treatments.
  • Document patient progress and discharge summaries timely.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide in-service education as needed.
  • Maintain professional relationships and adhere to facility policies.
  • Travel to facilities as required.
