Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

Job Summary: This position is for a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist responsible for operating radiologic x-ray equipment and processing images in various medical specialties. Preference in hiring is given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe, or San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, followed by spouses of members and other federally-recognized tribes.

Qualifications:

• Completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology.
• Current Arizona State License in Radiology and ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic examinations and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs and assist in emergency situations.
• Maintain equipment and quality control standards.
• Document patient records and manage scheduling.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
