Job Summary:
The role involves evaluating, planning, directing, and administering physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician to restore function and prevent disability. The therapist assists patients in achieving their maximum performance and adapting to their capabilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Review patient records and physician prescriptions to determine treatment needs.
  • Plan and administer treatments aimed at restoring function and relieving pain.
  • Conduct complete patient assessments and develop or revise treatment programs.
  • Administer manual exercises and operate treatment devices per guidelines.
  • Instruct patients in physical activities and supportive device usage.
  • Document patient progress and coordinate care with other services.
  • Direct the work of Physical Therapy Assistants and manage patient admissions and discharges.
  • Education:
    Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; new graduates welcome.

    License/Certification:
    Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in Washington and hold Basic Life Support Certification.

    Experience/Training:
    Internship experience in an acute care hospital preferred for new graduates.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $39.86 – $59.79 per hour
    Benefits: Includes medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and paid time off.

    Schedule: 8-hour day shifts; in-person work required.
