Summary:
A Neonatal Physical Therapist (NPT) provides evidence-based, holistic care to infants in the NICU, focusing on a neuroprotective, family-centered model. NPTs deliver specialized services to support long-term development and mitigate potential issues, playing a vital role in the NICU team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and care for NICU infants with various disorders.
  • Provide consultation and education for patients and caregivers.
  • Oversee developmental care and participate in NICU rounds and committees.
  • Deliver team-oriented, family-centered care based on evidence-based practices.
  • Requirements:

  • LPT License in state of employment.
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in inpatient/acute pediatric or neonate care.
  • Experience with medically-complex pediatric patients.
  • Work Type:
    Full Time, 32-40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
