The Registered Nurse I (RN I) in the Emergency Room is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation. Key duties include effective communication, teamwork, patient education, and adherence to safety initiatives. RN I must complete annual competencies and maintain a professional portfolio. Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) and hold a valid RN license and BLS certification.
