An experienced Speech Therapist is needed for home visits in NYC to assist patients with speech and language issues as directed by their primary medical doctor.
Qualifications:
Masters degree and ASHA certification in speech pathology.
Licensed and registered Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State.
Preferred: One year of supervised institutional and one year of home care experience.
Meets state health status requirements.
Responsibilities:
Assess and document patients’ speech and language abilities.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide rehabilitative services and instruct caregivers.
Collaborate with healthcare team members and participate in quality assurance activities.
