Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our San Luis Obispo team. Candidates should have experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs.
• Assisting physicians, performing breathing tests, and administering allergy injections.
• Maintaining clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring patient confidentiality, and complying with HIPAA guidelines.
• Documenting patient information and managing referrals and prescriptions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least one year of clinical experience, and proficiency in practice management software. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance and paid time off. Schedule is Monday to Friday, with no weekends.
