Citizens Memorial Hospital is seeking current nursing students for a Nurse Apprenticeship program, offering hands-on experience in various healthcare settings, including LTC, hospital, home care/hospice, and clinics. Apprentices will be compensated for their clinical time and must commit to one year of employment after graduation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with patient care under RN/LPN supervision
  • Performing specific nursing skills after competency demonstration
  • Documenting patient records accurately
  • Responding to patient/staff requests

    • Skills to be acquired include IV insertion, urinary catheter maintenance, dressing changes, and more. Candidates must work 12 hours per month, maintain BLS certification, and complete required training. Benefits include competitive salary, retirement plans, and employee discounts.
