Job Description

The Registered Nurse Per Diem (RN PD) is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation. Key duties involve effective communication, teamwork, and leadership while ensuring patient education and safety initiatives. Candidates must have an Associate’s degree in Nursing, two years of RN experience, and a valid RN license in Virginia. BLS certification is required, with specialty certifications preferred. Responsibilities include completing mandatory competencies, participating in peer reviews, and maintaining a current professional portfolio.
