Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy – Seasonal PRN

Job Description

Summary:
Responsible for pulmonary care of critical, non-critical, and chronically ill patients of all ages under physician supervision. Conducts patient assessments and implements respiratory care plans, performing various diagnostic and technical procedures throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities:
Includes but not limited to:

• Emergency response (Code Blue and White)
• Airway management and suctioning
• Delivery of aerosolized drugs
• Ventilator management
• Oxygen delivery and monitoring
• Chest film and blood gas analysis
• Documentation and equipment maintenance
• Participation in CAP and JC surveys

Job Requirements:
1-3 years of experience preferred. Required certifications include RT or RCP License, BLS, RRT, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Work schedule varies; position is per diem as needed.
