Operating Room Nurse Manager

Job Description

Position Summary: The Manager of Clinical Operations oversees nursing care resources in the Operating Room, managing RNs, CSTs, and Surgical Assistants. This role focuses on optimizing patient care delivery and flow, fostering collaboration among staff, and acting as a clinical expert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote excellence and cooperation in the operating room.
• Develop and implement policies and staffing plans.
• Evaluate staff performance and manage assignments.
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance patient care.
• Address patient satisfaction and regulatory issues.
• Encourage staff development and monitor competencies.
• Ensure resource adequacy and fiscal responsibility.

Requirements:

• Current CT RN License and Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred).
• 3-5 years of OR clinical experience and management experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CNOR certification preferred.

Schedule: Full Time, Days (6:45am – 3:15pm).
