A Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN also prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates patient teaching and ancillary nursing personnel while upholding professional nursing standards. Direct and indirect patient care is provided.
Requirements:
- Education/Skills: Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience: 12 months preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas nursing license, AHA BLS, Medication Competence, Computer Competence, and other certifications within specified timeframes.
