MRI Technologist

Job Description

Job Summary: Seeking a qualified MRI technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of the Manager. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities:

• Address patient physical and emotional needs.
• Conduct magnetic resonance exams following established protocols.
• Screen patients and families entering the Imaging Center.
• Report patient changes to appropriate personnel.
• Transport patients within the Radiology Department as needed.
• Provide exam-related information to customers.
• Document procedural information accurately.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control as per protocol.
• Administer contrast media and conduct point of care testing as required.

Qualifications:

• Essential credentials: American Registry MRI certification.
• Education: Associate Degree required.
• Previous MRI experience preferred.
