We are looking for a self-motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse to fill the role of Director of Staff Development. This full-time position involves managing daily operations and coordinating educational programs to meet state and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide orientation and educational opportunities for staff.
Assist personnel in developing necessary skills for resident care.
Schedule CNAs and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care.
Oversee infection prevention and control programs.
Execute physician orders and evaluate patient care.
Communicate diagnostic results and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications:
Experience as an LVN and in a supervisory DSD role.
Current LVN license in CA and DSD certification.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently.
