ED Trauma Nurse – Nights Weekend Only

Job Description

Summary:

The RN Clinical Nurse at ThedaCare provides specialized, evidence-based nursing care through an interprofessional approach, focusing on patient-centered outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the nursing process to assess and develop care plans collaboratively.
• Demonstrating clinical expertise and improving patient care experiences.
• Maintaining positive relationships with the care team and managing risks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure and a BSN (or commitment to obtain).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Work Environment:

Includes exposure to various physical demands and potential hazards, with a focus on teamwork in a Level II trauma center.

Schedule:

12-hour night shifts with a weekend program, totaling 36 hours per week.
