Occupational Therapist

Job Description

Location: Rockaway/Bushwick, NY

Pay: Up to $54.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Weekly Hours: 35-40

Job Purpose: Seeking an Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment programs for participants recovering from medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate participants and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Document assessments and progress notes per policy.
• Maintain a safe environment and participate in care plan meetings.
• Provide clinical instruction and training to students and staff.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• One year of experience preferred, especially with the elderly.
• New York State licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist required.
• Bilingual preferred.
