Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Job Summary: A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed at a 156-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, offering a $3,500 sign-on bonus. The SLP will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for residents with communication or swallowing impairments, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and assisting in policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents’ needs and follow physician orders for treatment.
• Assist in developing prevention policies for communication and swallowing decline.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide caregiver education.
• Maintain accurate documentation as per regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: Must hold a current SLP license and possess relevant certifications or be in the process of obtaining them. Strong computer skills, especially with EMR, are preferred.
