Job Description

The Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in providing technical expertise and patient care in the Operating Room (OR). This part-time position (0.75 FTE) involves working 3 days one week and 4 days the next, with varying 8-hour shifts. A $3,500 sign-on bonus is available for new hires with a 12-month commitment.

Essential functions include:

• Preparing the surgical suite and ensuring all instruments are sterile and available.
• Assisting surgeons and maintaining an aseptic environment during procedures.
• Collaborating with the surgical team and managing instruments post-procedure.
• Participating in continuing education and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications include graduation from a surgical technology program, preferred certification, and one year of OR experience. Candidates must demonstrate compliance with policies and effective communication skills.
