Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible for planning and implementing professional nursing care for patients, adhering to hospital policies, and taking on charge nurse duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs of patients.
• Ability to communicate patient needs and observe patients effectively.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting; potential exposure to infectious materials.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• BLS – American Heart Association
• RN – Board of Nursing
