Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist coordinates and performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment, adhering to professional protocols to assist physicians in diagnosing and planning patient treatment. Effective communication and behavior must align with the organization’s values.
Responsibilities:
Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and waste disposal protocols.
Document calibrations and quality control tests.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
Demonstrate adherence to CORE Values.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
1 year of nuclear medicine experience required; 2 years in Radiology preferred.
Current State Licensure and BLS required; ARRT or NMTCB registration needed.
Work Schedule: Varies
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
