The Registered Nurse (RN) provides essential nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during exams and treatments.
- Administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
- Maintaining patient care records and observing patient conditions.
The RN plays a key role in patient care planning and implementation, leading support staff in a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit that specializes in critically ill adults. Qualifications include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred one year of nursing experience.
- Current Texas RN License, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Work type is per diem as needed.
