> REF:#403445c8fed2af33Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and interventional procedures under general supervision, ensuring patient care, safety, and comfort. Responsibilities include maintaining records, educating patients, and collaborating with radiologists.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging and assist in interventional procedures.
- Prepare reports and communicate with referring physicians.
- Ensure timely documentation in PACS and maintain equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and participate in departmental meetings.
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Current ARDMS certification in AB and OB; BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
