Job Description

Position Summary: The Crisis Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients and families in the community, ensuring a safe environment and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary care team for optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 8p-8a, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with call backup 10-15 times per year and 2 holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments and interventions.
• Update care plans as needed.
• Respond to urgent needs and initiate crisis care.
• Educate patients/families on care needs.
• Administer medications and maintain electronic records.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements: Associate’s degree in nursing required; RN license in the state of practice required.
