Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist coordinates and performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment, ensuring adherence to professional protocols for accurate diagnostic images. Effective communication and behavior must align with the organization’s mission and values.
Responsibilities:
Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and waste disposal protocols.
Document calibrations and quality control tests.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
Demonstrate CORE Values adherence.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience required; 2 years in Radiology preferred.
Current State Licensure and BLS certification required.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required.
Work Schedule: Varies
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
