Job Summary: The Staff Registered Nurse at Skagit Valley Hospital is responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members while adhering to professional nursing standards.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct patient assessments and document health status.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient needs.
• Administer medications and perform direct patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate with physicians.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• RN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of Level 2 nursery or NICU experience.
• Current Washington State RN License and BLS certification required.

Physical Demands: The position requires physical activity, including lifting patients over 50 pounds and performing various movements throughout the shift.
