Summary:

The role involves operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic X-ray films as directed by physicians. Responsibilities include:

• Positioning patients and adjusting equipment for X-rays.
• Instructing patients and monitoring vital signs during exams.
• Maintaining safety standards and accurate radiology records.
• Adjusting radiation exposure based on individual patient needs.
• Examining and processing radiologic films for quality.
• Maintaining examination rooms and stocking supplies.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology course.
• Preferred one year of experience as a radiologic technologist.
• Current state licensure and ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification.
