Mammography Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist based in Valley Stream, with coverage expected in Lynbrook, Elmont, and Hewlett as needed. This role involves operating mammographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care. Responsibilities include monitoring patient well-being, guiding them through procedures, and addressing physician inquiries.

The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications include ARRT(R)(M) certification, a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, BLS certification, and preferably one year of diagnostic imaging experience.

Pay ranges from $38.00 to $49.00 per hour, with weekend shifts on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
