Job Summary:
Seeking a competent Nurse for PreOp/PACU who can practice independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care. The role involves managing patient care, making appropriate assignments, and developing long-range goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Address complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects.
Document patient history and care provided.
Educate patients and families on care and resources.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
Active RN License in the state of employment.
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
