Job Description

Job Summary: The Licensed Crisis Clinician Specialist provides crisis intervention and support services to psychiatric consumers of all ages at a community mental health center in Indianapolis, IN.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct crisis mental health and substance abuse screenings.
• Evaluate psychosocial needs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide daily living skills education and referrals to community resources.
• Maintain documentation of crisis and case management services.
• Consult with emergency room and medical staff on psychiatric cases.
• Screen for suicide and homicide risks and determine care levels.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Human Services with relevant licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Knowledge of mental health treatment and crisis intervention.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
