Job Description

The Cardiovascular Sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiograms and various vascular studies to assess patients’ cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in ultrasound equipment is essential for capturing quality images in line with established guidelines.

• Licensure: Required certifications include Registered Vascular Technologist and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or equivalent.
• Education: Graduate of Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound programs or an Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Sonography.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience required.
