Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide medical care to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Iron River, Michigan. This role focuses on the Geriatric population, with no weekend, night, or holiday shifts required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage chronic and acute conditions, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Michigan and board certification.
• Experience with the geriatric population preferred.
• Strong assessment and communication skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records.
