Job Summary:
The role involves providing primary and episodic care to patients, both independently and in collaboration with medical professionals, adhering to protocols set by the Chief Medical Officer or Supervising Physician. The position emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention through patient education and care coordination, while ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care delivery.
General Accountabilities:
Ensure smooth patient flow and follow medical protocols.
Conduct comprehensive physical exams and assessments.
Order and perform necessary tests and procedures.
Document and define differential diagnoses.
Collaborate with supervising physician for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Interpret diagnostic data and results.
Prescribe medications and instruct patients on usage.
Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
Handle sensitive patient issues with tact and diplomacy.
Utilize computer software for accurate data management.
Job Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with 1+ years of clinical experience.
Board certified nurse practitioner with current state licensure.
DEA license with no restrictions.
Experience in emergency, urgent care, or ambulatory settings.
BLS certification required.
