Job Summary:
A Physical Therapist (PT) provides intermittent physical therapy to patients in various settings, following physician orders and care plans under the supervision of the Regional Director of Therapy, Outpatient.
Responsibilities:
Assess patient functional abilities and potential.
Complete evaluations to establish treatment plans.
Develop and implement prescribed therapy plans.
Document visits and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and educate patients and caregivers.
Order specialized medical equipment as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current therapy license in Missouri and certification.
Preferred two years of experience.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and extensive standing.
