Job Summary:
The Nurse in Medsurg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care provides both routine and complex patient care, adhering to treatment plans while managing clinical situations independently. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, as well as addressing the psychological and social needs of patients and families.

Core Competencies:
– Utilizes critical thinking and develops individualized care plans.
– Facilitates patient flow and discharge processes.
– Plans and evaluates nursing care during shifts.
– Ensures patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
– Minimum 2 years of Medsurg/Telemetry experience required.
– BLS, ACLS, and RN license required; PALS and de-escalation training within 30 days of hire.
