Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing

Job Description

Position Purpose: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in planning and delivering patient care services under the supervision of an RN, and may act as a Shift Charge Nurse in their absence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate within the scope of practice for LPNs in Oregon.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate parties.
• Document patient records accurately and timely.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Adjust staffing as needed and provide leadership.
• Administer IV therapy if certified.

Qualifications: Must have a valid Oregon LPN license and current CPR certification. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform various patient care tasks.
