Athletic Trainer

Job Description

Position Summary: Seeking an athletic trainer to implement treatment programs for athletes under the guidance of a senior trainer and sports medicine physician, adhering to NATA guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and maintain educational programs for staff.
• Conduct annual in-services on athletic training.
• Maintain records of athletic injuries and treatments.
• Provide emergency medical coverage and training services for athletic teams.
• Assist with pre-participation physical exams.
• Complete baseline ImPACT scores for collision sport athletes.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s in science (if licensed prior to 2022).
• Prior athletic training experience preferred.
• NATA Certification and South Carolina Athletic Trainers Certification required.
