> REF:#213772d5612e77f8Job Summary: Under the supervision of a Neurologist, the technologist performs neurophysiology studies, ensuring patient safety and recognizing electrical activity. Responsibilities include test setup, electrode application, and independent judgment in applying neurophysiology techniques for diagnosis across all age groups.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: BCLS and EEG Certification (within 2 years of hire)
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; preferred enrollment in a CAAHEP accredited program or an Associates Degree
- Experience: 1 year of clinical training; familiarity with EEG, EP, IOM, LTM, and NCS preferred
Skills: Ability to perform neurodiagnostic procedures, work independently, and basic PC knowledge.
Physical Demands: Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and visual acuity required.
