Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Join our in-house therapy team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and take a rewarding step in your career. PTAs work under the direction of Physical Therapists to assist residents with physical injuries or illnesses, helping them regain movement and manage pain through tailored exercise plans.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Licenses/Certification: Current state PTA licensure and valid CPR certification.
• Experience: Preferred six months in a long-term care environment.

Essential Functions:

• Assist residents with ambulation and daily activities.
• Support physical therapists by identifying patient care issues and implementing therapy directives.
• Conduct health assessments and perform therapeutic procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $42.00 – $45.00 per hour
