Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides essential nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during exams and treatments.
• Administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
• Maintaining patient care records and participating in care planning.
• Leading and directing support staff.

In the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit, RNs receive telemetry training and must be ACLS certified. This fast-paced environment offers opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current Texas State RN License and CPR certification.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
