Summary:
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of nursing practices and operations at the assigned areas, ensuring 24/7 accountability. This role involves managing departmental outcomes, facilitating communication, and promoting excellence in patient care and outcomes. The Nurse Manager oversees staff and resource utilization, advocates for patients and families, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement yearly unit goals.
  • Monitor unit operations and address issues.
  • Advocate for patient rights and satisfaction.
  • Direct patient care in compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with HR for staffing needs.
  • Evaluate staff performance and promote professional development.
  • Conduct staff meetings and ensure quality control.
  • Manage unit budgets and resource utilization.

    • Requirements:
    Bachelor’s Degree, RN License, BLS certification.
