The New Graduate Registered Nurse position offers a full-time role with a one-year Nurse Residency Program designed to transition new graduates into professional nursing. This program includes a blend of on-the-job training and classroom education, fostering collaboration among new RNs on projects aimed at improving patient care.
Key components of the curriculum include Clinical Leadership, Patient Safety, and the Professional Role of a Registered Nurse, with monthly sessions and a final evidence-based practice project. Responsibilities include patient care, delegation, and participation in research.
Qualifications:
- Licensed RN in Illinois
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to perform patient care tasks and withstand prolonged standing
Environmental exposure includes blood, bodily fluids, and other hazardous materials.
