Position Title: RN – Renal Unit

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Renal Unit is responsible for coordinating patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe and therapeutic care. The RN collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, while also focusing on self-development and lifelong learning. Leadership skills in decision-making and problem-solving are essential, along with sensitivity to patients’ psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural needs.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe environment and meet work schedules.
• Utilize critical thinking and coordinate healthcare services.
• Provide patient education and act as a liaison among healthcare team members.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and adapt care plans as needed.
• Demonstrate professional communication and adhere to medication safety policies.
• Engage in continuous learning and support team development.

Required Education and Experience: High School Graduate, Associate Degree in Nursing.

Licensure and Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse (Kansas or compact license), CPR/AED/BLS certification.
