> REF:#10295e55a3a5573cJob Summary: The psychologist conducts Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) for veterans filing claims for mental health conditions (e.g., PTSD, Depression, Anxiety) through the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). These comprehensive exams involve mental health assessments and medical opinions but do not include treatment. Positions are available at clinics across the western United States.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health examinations, including PTSD and anxiety.
- Provide medical opinion writing for mental health claims.
- Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and VA regulations.
- Perform one-time, no-treatment examinations.
Requirements:
- Full, current, and unrestricted U.S. psychology license.
- Graduated from an APA-approved doctorate program.
Preferred: Experience with C&P exams is a plus, but training will be provided.
Pay: $59.34
