Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting physicians, administering medications, changing dressings, cleaning wounds, and monitoring vital signs while maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in patient care planning and implementation as a primary or associate nurse.
- Directs safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
- Leads and guides support staff within the department.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
- Current Texas State RN License and CPR certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within specified timeframes.
