> REF:#0eb20fed8c0bf8fbThe Medical Technologist II is responsible for performing moderate to highly complex testing to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating knowledge of clinical procedures and critical thinking skills.
- Operating and maintaining complex scientific equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality control.
- Assuming charge responsibilities, monitoring workflow, and providing problem-solving support to medical personnel.
- Conducting direct patient contact procedures, including phlebotomy and assisting with bone marrow collections.
- Supporting a self-directed team environment and providing training to new staff.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or military training, with certification preferred. The position is full-time, night shift, with rotating weekends.
