The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering nursing care to a specific group of patients during designated shifts, utilizing the nursing process for assessment and intervention. Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective communication with patients and team members.
  • Promoting quality, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care.
  • Incorporating teaching principles and demonstrating health promotion skills.
  • Applying leadership and critical thinking in nursing practice.
  • Maintaining human care relationships and integrating patient experiences.
  • Floating to other departments as needed.

    • Requirements include an ADN (BSN preferred), active RN license, one year of medical-surgical experience (preferred), and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI within specified timeframes.
