Job Summary:
This position involves performing medical ultrasound procedures as per physician orders, adhering to guidelines from the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and American Society Radiologic Technologists. The technologist will manage ultrasound equipment, provide patient care, and document procedures accurately. They will work under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director and assist in invasive procedures when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Document equipment calibration and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist Radiologists in biopsy procedures.
  • Maintain accurate billing and supply readiness in the ultrasound room.
  • Adapt patient assessments to meet individual needs.

    • Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in relevant ultrasound fields preferred.
  • ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification required within one year.
  • BLS certification required.

    • Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
