Job Description

The Operating Room Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the surgical and nursing teams within the Operating Room. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up tables, instruments, and supplies for surgeries while maintaining surgical asepsis.
• Assisting during operative procedures and preparing patients preoperatively.
• Handling table equipment, patient positioning, and applying dressings and casts.
• Preparing and delivering operative specimens to the laboratory.
• Transporting patients and cleaning the operating room post-surgery.
• Maintaining storage areas and preparing for upcoming cases.
• Recording patient data and performing Nursing Aide duties as needed.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Operating Room Technician Certification, and the ability to commute to Prestonsburg, KY. This full-time position offers benefits such as health and dental insurance, paid time off, and requires an Associate degree.
