Job Description

We are hiring for a night shift nursing position in the Ortho department at a Birmingham hospital, offering a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. The 30-bed unit focuses on orthopedic and neurosurgical patients, emphasizing quick recovery post-surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care per established protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Coordinate care among healthcare disciplines.
• Execute physician and nursing orders.
• Assist in discharge planning.

Requirements:

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse in Alabama.
• Nursing diploma or required licensure at hire.
